Mental Health and Well-Being

OUR ETHOS STATEMENT: Our school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice.  It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils. Each child is recognised as an individual and encouraged to develop his or her varying talents, interests and potential.  We aim to provide an ethos in which pupils can learn and be happy, providing them with a firm and lasting foundation of knowledge and values to serve them as they grow up and take their place in society.

A Family, A Foundation, A Future

The mental health and well-being of our school community is incredibility important to us. We are currently working toward the Gloucestershire Healthy Living and Learning  Mental Health Champion Award and are always looking for new ways to support our children and their families. 

 

If you would like any help, support or signposting regarding your own mental health and well-being or for your child or family, please contact the school office and arrange an appointment with our Family Support Worker or see below for some helpful websites. 

  • Teen's in Crisis (TiC+) Teen's in Crisis can support children and their families from 9 years old. They can provide information and guidance for parents and counselling for children.
  • The Door The Door can offer support and guidance to parents and mentoring to young people.
  • GlosFamilies Directory GlosFamilies Directory has information for adults regarding their relationships, young people, education and family support and early help. This website signposts to many other organisations who can support families in their time of need.
