Welcome to our School Community

If your child has recently joined the school, we hope your family has settled in well and is enjoying being part of the extended Whitminster School community.

The Friends of Whitminster School (FOW) is a voluntary group of parents who help raise vital funds for the school through a wide range of activities and events. We would love you to join us!

⭐ What We Do

At FOW, we are passionate about creating a calendar of fun, interesting and varied events for the whole school community.
Our goal is to enhance our children’s education by raising money for additional resources, projects and adventures.

We share updates in the school’s fortnightly newsletter and on our FOW Facebook page.

💛 What We Have Funded

Thanks to the support of our wonderful school community, we have been able to provide:

• Subsidised school trips
• Annual music lessons
• Annual leavers' hoodies
• Interactive whiteboards for all classrooms
• A shed for safely storing sports equipment
• An eco-bin for recycling know-how
• A contribution to the new hall smart screen
• Class libraries filled with new resources

There are so many ways you can support FOW; you can choose anything that suits your time, interests and availability.
We understand life is busy, and we genuinely appreciate any time you’re able to give.

FOW is not just for parents. Family members, carers, grandparents and community friends are all welcome to join or volunteer.
